Enantioselective Pd-Catalyzed Hydrogenation of Enesulfonamides.

Efficient catalytic systems are found for the synthesis of chiral sultams (II) and (IV) by an asymmetric hydrogenation of endo-cyclic enesulfonamides (I) and exo-cyclic enesulfonamides (III), respectively.
