FEATURES OF MICROPROCESSOR CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR SHIPBOARD PROPULSION PLANTS
1988
This article discusses the development of rational microprocessor- based integrated control system structures for marine propulsion plants with different configurations of main engine and propeller. The underlying method is that of functional decentralization, which enables complicated control processes to be divided into relatively independent subprocesses that can interact with a minimum interface. This division is based on an analysis of the specific functions, makeup, and functional characteristics of the controlled system.
