Spark chamber with multi-track capability☆

Abstract A new type of optical spark chamber, capable of supporting many tracks, is described. The essential new feature is a thin conductive layer over a thin insulation layer which is attached to one of the plates of a conventional chamber. Theory of operation and experimental tests are described.
