Study on fauna and similarity coefficients among communities of house and courtyard ants in Chengdu area

The ant species at houses and courtyards in Chengdu area were investigated and the results showed that there were 26 ant species under 12 genera and 3 subfamilies in such habitats.Fauna of house and courtyard ants in Chengdu area was divided into 4 geographical regions based on their geographical and climatic environments,and the species composition,distribution and fauna characteristics in these regions were analyzed and discussed.Furthermore the stability of these ant communities was discussed through comparison of similarity coefficients of these communities with each other.
