Relationship between Psychological Stress and Temperament and Behavior Pattern of Paratroopers

Objective To deliberate the relation between dispositions,behaviors and psychological stress of paratroopers. Methods A self-designed psychological information questionnaire,sychological Stress for Groups Scale,Temperament and Behavior Pattern Scale were used to investigate 1038 paratroopers from an air force units. Results ①As for emotional and environmental factors,personal relationships,climate conditions,extracurricular activities and off-work rests show statistically predictable effects on mental stress.②As for means of dispositions,different types of dispositions were significantly positively related with stress levels in the order of Melancholic,Bilious,Sanguine and Phlegmatic.③As for behavior,the mental stress score was positively related with individual behavior in the order of TH+CH,TH,CH. Conclusion Dispositions,behaviors,extracurricular activities and social relationship circles should be considered when performing psychological intervention on the paratroopers.
