DETERMINATION OF THE COORDINATES OF THE MINIMA OF FUNCTIONALS BY THE LINEARIZATION METHOD

A method of minimization is suggested which is applicable to the functionals dependent on the parameters sought for exclusively through the functional argument, and having convergence significantly better than that of the general methods in common use. The method is highly efficient in solving a number of concrete problems. (auth)
