Uso de esterco bovino na produção de pimentão em Glória de Dourados-MS

The pepper is a vegetable of great socioeconomic importance in Brazil, being very demandingwith respect to the chemical and physical characteristics of the soil, responding well to organicfertilization. The bovine manure is the source most used by the olericultores of the region,and should be used especially in soils poor in organic matter. The objective of this work wasto evaluate the use of bovine manure in weight, number of fruits and the yield of sweet pepperin Gloria de Dourados-MS under increasing doses of bovine manure in an organic productionsystem. Five dosages 0, 10, 20, 30, 40 t ha-1 were evaluated. Cattle manure promoted linearincreases in productivity. At the dose of 40,000 kg ha-1 the yield was 23,472 kg ha-1. The useof bovine manure was shown to be promising for the increase in pepper yield.
