Modeling and Simulation of a Photovoltaic System Connected to The Electricity Grid with MALTAB/Simulink/Simpower Software

This work presents a contribution for a design of a photovoltaic system (PV) connected to the electrical network. The operation of this system is regulated by a “Maximum Power Point Tracking” (MPPT) command. Indeed, the integration of photovoltaic systems in power systems managers of the distribution network must be able to provide some risky situations such as power surges, phase imbalance etc. We developed a variant of the PV field, boost converter, inverter and electrical network models existing in the literature and calculated its various parameters. The simulations carried out with Matlab / Simulink / Simpower made it possible to analyze and evaluate the dynamic response of the PV system according to the climatic conditions (temperature, illumination) in one hand and in the other, its interaction with the connected network.
