CONFLICT FREE AND EFFICIENT FLIGHT ROUTES PLANNING IN FREE ROUTE AIRSPACE

The main purpose of this paper is to approach and emphasise the role of conflict free and efficient flight route planning in Free Route Airspace(FRA) as a part of introduction working programme - Step 2, "Trajectory-based Operations" in Single European Sky ATM Research Programme. Free Route Airspace Concept comprises specific airspace within which users shall freely plan their routes between an entry point and an exit point without reference to the ATS route network.
