Design of Symmetric Fixture System Based on Lever-toggle Driven by Pneumatic Muscle

The fixture that using pneumatic muscle instead of traditional rigid pneumatic cylinder and lever-toggle force-amplified mechanism can replace hydraulic fixture.It has many advantages such as large output force and no pollution.Four types of symmetric fixture based on lever-toggle driven by pneumatic muscle were innovated.The working principles and mechanics calculating formulae of the four mechanisms were shown.
