Stable emulsion of perfluoropolyether and fat substance and its preparation

PURPOSE: To prepare a stable emulsion of fat substances and perfluoropolyethers having perfluoroalkyl terminal groups. CONSTITUTION: This emulsion is formed from 1 to 50 wt.% one or more kinds of perfluoropolyethers having perfluoroalkyl terminal groups, 10 to 95 wt.% one or more kinds of polyhydroxy compds., 10 to 80 wt.% (including water or a hydrophilic solvent if these are present) one or more kinds of fat substances having the melting points not higher than 100°C and 0.1 to 10 wt.% one or more kinds of emulsifiers soluble in the polyhydroxy compds. The polyhydroxy compds. are selected from glycerols, polyalcohols except the glycerol and saccharides and have at least three hydroxyl groups. The polyhydroxy compds. are dissolved in water or a hydrophilic solvent when these compds. are solid. COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
