Negative magnetoresistance for different orientations of n-type CdAs2 in the variable-range hopping regime
1994
Abstract The negative magnetoresistance of cadmium diarsenide in the variable-range hopping regime near the metal-non-metal transition was analysed by fitting the theoretical model of Altshuler to the experimental data. Experiments were performed for two different CdAs 2 crystallographic orientations: [110] and [001]. It has been found that there exists a region of magnetic fields and temperatures in which the behaviour of the negative magnetoresistance corresponds completely to that predicted by Altshuler.
