An Investigation of the Ways the Faculty Members of the Specified Universities Pass Their Leisure Time: A Focus on Sport

The purpose of the present research is to consider the physical activities and leisure time of the faculty professors in the selected universities. There were 82 and 178 female and male professors (260) participating in our research with the mean age 43.6 8.4. They completed a questionnaire whose items reliability and the scores dispersion determined using cronbach alpha(a=0.82) and kolmogorov-smirnov test, respectively. Reading, physical activities and working with computer ranked first through third as for professors' leisure time.They spent one day a week outdoors doing physical activities. They would prefer to do sports like swimming, table tennis, soccer, mountain climbing and jogging, respectively.
