Physical, mechanical and wear performance of graphite (Gr) particles incorporated aluminium matrix composites – An overview

In the recent years, the wide attention on consuming the aluminium alloy composites (AACs) has heightened owed to its potential for substituting the old-style materials in numerous industrial fields. In this review manuscript, a state of the art overview on miscellaneous particle likes graphite (Gr) powder included AACs. This review article unveils the physical, wear and mechanical characteristics of Gr powder included Al based composites. Usually the Gr contents based AACs are made by the stir casting process and the rare amount of experimental studies are completed in other production techniques. Mostly the behaviours of the AACs are decreased with the rise in Gr powder material. Including the Gr content in the dual particle form the AACs behaviours are augmented.
