Study on the Glass Fiber Reinforced PPE/HIPS

The effects of various glass fibers on the mechanical properties of polyphenylene ether/high impact polystyrene(PPE/HIPS)alloy were investigated.The morphology of the impact fracture of the materials was observed.Results showed that the PPE/HIPS alloy reinforced with the special glass fiber PPE had good bonding in interface,and the mechanical property of the products were improved significantly,which had reached the comparative level of the imported material.
