Development of a pediatric vision screening device for remote assessment of binocular fixation and focus using birefringence properties of the eye

This talk reviews the development of a new pediatric vision screener, which employs polarization-modulated, retinal-birefringence-scanning-based eye alignment detection and bull's eye focus detection with an improved target system.
