*Corresponding author: diwakar14jan@gmail.com Stylosanthes spp. are the most important pasture legumes in tropics and subtropics and play a significant role to provide nutritious forage for animal production, improvement of soil fertility and the restoration of degraded lands (1). Stylosanthes spp. parasitized by many fungal diseases; of them anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides (Penz.) Sacc. and C. dematium (Pers. ex Fr. Grove is occupied fairly a high place (3, 4).
