A Note on the Convergence of NURBS Curves When Weights Approach Infinity

In this paper, the convergence of NURBS curves is considered when the weights of a NURBS curve approach infinity. We prove that the limit of the NURBS curve does not exist as the weights tend to infinity and further study the convergence of NURBS curves about pointwise convergence, uniform convergence and L^1 convergence.
