국가 보건의료정보화의 정보전략계획(ISP) 수립 방안 / Information Strategic Planning for National e-Health Development

The e-health strategy at the national level will successfully achieve the trust-and-consensus-based e-health goals by linking strategic information planning and the execution of an implementation plan. This paper presents a long term strategic plan, a.k.a. National e-Health Information Strategic Planning (ISP), and proposes a process to develop an action plan that finds a solution for better medical environment. After evaluating the current situation, we suggest that a strategic role of the ISP is to improve the quality of care and contribute to the economic growth by integrating a variety of policies and providing affordable and competitive services. We explain the case of e-Health Information Strategic Planning of the Ministry of Health and Welfare of Korea.
