Robustness Analysis of a Launcher Attitude Controller Via µ-Analysis

Abstract This paper presents a method for analyzing the robustness of attitude control laws of a launcher. The specifications are given in terms of stability and performance requirements and have to be satisfied for a wide range of parametric uncertainties. After a description of the model and associated uncertainties, a method for obtaining a discrete LFT representation, is presented. The robustness analysis of the attitude control for stability specifications and performance specifications is performed via μ, analysis. This method enables to cover the whole domain of uncertainties at once and avoids systematic and numerous simulations.
