Disponibilidad y uso de las tic en las pequeñas y medianas industrias del estado nueva esparta

Research on the availability and use of ICT in the Nueva Esparta state SMIs, responds to the mainstreaming of ICT in business dynamics, where rationality and efficiency of its use is in an interdependent relationship between competitiveness and Localization. It was considered necessary to study the available infrastructure, the preparedness of the managers and the use made of existing technology, the provisions sustained in Castell (2009), Merono and Sabater (2006), Cohen and Asin (2005 ), Scarone (2004), among others, as theoretical and empirical platform . The descriptive research design with non-experimental field, whose instrument was the questionnaire validated psychometric qualities and reliability calculated through Cronbach Alpha allowed a univariate statistical analysis which evidenced that the adoption and use of ICT based in computing and the Internet are a necessary, but not sufficient , to increase productivity and competitiveness of SMIs.
