Liquid-crystalline medium containing preservative

The present invention relates to liquid-crystalline media (LC media) with thiophene derivatives, which are stabilized by dithiophenes and Thiophenoxide and liquid crystal displays (LC displays) containing these LC media. A further object thiophenoxide are compounds which can also be used as stabilizers in these LC media.
