Scattering-type fire smoke detector and concentrator thereof

The invention discloses a concentrator for a scattering-type fire smoke detector, which comprises a concentrator casing. The inner reflection surface of the concentrator casing is a compound parabolic reflection surface; the front end and the rear end of the concentrator casing are respectively provided with light inlets and light outlets; the light inlets comprise an end surface light inlet and a side surface light inlet; and the side surface light inlet is arranged on the side surface of the concentrator casing and crossed with the end surface light inlet. The invention also provides a scattering-type fire smoke detector. The above concentrator for the scattering-type fire smoke detector is adopted for gathering scattering light for smoke particles in an optical detection cavity. As the side surface light inlet is arranged on the concentrator, the area of the light inlet is increased, the range for receiving the scattering light is increased, the ability of gathering the scattering light by the concentrator is improved, and the detection sensitivity and the detection accuracy of the fire smoke detector are improved.
