An improved frequency scaling algorithm for airborne TOPS mode

Aiming at airborne FMCW SAR system, this paper discusses the remove of azimuth aliasing in TOPS mode based on full aperture imaging structure. By carefully setting system parameters, the aliasing problem in azimuth frequency domain is avoided; in addition, drawing up the idea of the de-rotation operation, we propose an improved frequency scaling algorithm (FSA), which removes the aliasing in azimuth time domain without increasing the amount of processing data, the algorithm contains only FFT and complex multiplication operations. The simulation results have verified the effectiveness of the proposed method.
