A X-Band 3-D SICC Filter with Low-Loss and Narrow Band using LTCC Technology

In this paper, a novel compact X-band band pass filter with low loss and narrow-band using low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology is proposed. The filter is based on the substrate integrated Circular Cavity (SICC) resonator and fed by transmission line, and it exhibits excellent performance (IL 0.61 dB, 3-dB bandwidth (BW) 3.4%). To validate the design method of the structure, two different 3D simulation tools are employed.
