Analisis Iklim Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah berdasarkan Data Pemantau Cuaca Otomatis BMKG

Central Sulawesi is one of Indonesia’s largest provinces, which has a land area with topography ranges from 10 – 2000 meters above sea level, several lakes, and are surrounded by straits, bays, seas, and mountains. The study aimed to determine the seasonal pattern at locations of each automatic weather stations in the Central Sulawesi province. The results showed that there are two seasonal rainfall patterns at locations of each automatic weather stations, which are equatorial and anti monsoonal patterns. Besides, the variant of anti monsoonal and the dry anti monsoonal patterns are also identified in some areas. Factors that cause seasonal variations in Central Sulawesi are geographic location and topography complexes.
