Transmyocardial implant flexible inducing angiogenesis.

1999
An implant device (10, 60, 91, 130) comprising a flexible body defining a hollow structure having an interior (14, 66, 93, 132) with a volume and having at least one opening (22, 70 , 72, 93, 134) to the interior, the implant being constructed to have a first configuration having a profile and a second configuration that is compressed to define a profile that is different from the profile of the first configuration being further constructed implant so that, when implanted, cyclical movement of surrounding tissue in which it is implanted, producing a cyclic movement of the body between the two configurations and expansion and concurrent contraction of the interior volume, and wherein the implant is arranged and configured to allow blood to enter, it is collect and pool in the interior during expansion of the interior, and be expelled from the interior during contraction of the interior, to promote this m ANERA the incoming blood trombosisde allowing blood to collect and pool inside.
