Variable structure control with sliding mode for self-controlled synchronous motor drive speed regulation

1992
The variable structure control strategy is a potential tool for designing a closed-loop system which contains variable of indeterminate parameters. The application of variable structure theory to a self-controlled synchronous machine is discussed, in which a microprocessor-based digital regulator is used to make up a nonlinear regulation system. The simulation and experimental results show that the dynamic performance meets the given requirements. >
