Underwater Experiments Analysis of Wideband Signal High-Resolution Direction of Arrival Methods

High-resolution DOA(directi on of arrival) for wideband signal has been an active area of underwater array signal processing. Since CSSM(Coherent Signa l-Subspace Method) for wideband array signal was proposed by H.Wang ,it had been a key point in wideband array signal processing. In this paper, th e model of wideband array signal is established, and several classic CSSM a lgorithms for D OA are described. Experiments are carried out in water tank for wideband array s ignal processi ng, the experimental results show that CSSM algorithms have high resolution abil ity, and can be well used in wideband signal DOA. A novel approach of array cali bration method is presented for real system in this paper, and experimental resu lts show that it can be widely used in engineering practice.
