Comprehensive Evaluation of Innovation Efficiency of Jilin Province Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry Based on Radar Map Feature Vector Algorithm

This paper aim at analyzing the innovation efficiency and ability of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Jilin Province. Methods: Factor analysis was used to divide the innovation indicators of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Jilin Province from 2010 to 2018 into four(4) dimensions, which cover incentive effect, innovation vitality, innovation ability and R&D investment. The weights of the four(4) dimensions in innovation efficiency were presented based on radar chart. Results: The innovation efficiency of the pharmaceutical industry in Jilin Province continued to improve. However the overall comprehensive capabilities were converging and there were shortcomings. Incentive effect and innovation vitality have a positive effect on innovation efficiency, as well as having a certain driving force on innovation ability, but there is a slow decline. The contribution of innovation efficiency can be judged by sorting the internal indicators of each dimension based on the eigenvector algorithm of radar chart. Conclusion: The comprehensive ability of innovation efficiency of the pharmaceutical industry in Jilin Province has been continuously improving. It is the phenomenon that exists in the way of innovation capital investment promoting innovation ability. The comprehensive ability of innovation efficiency has shortcomings and is converging year by year, which is inversely related to innovation investment and innovation vitality.
