The invention provides an image acquisition method and device. The method is applied to an intelligent shooting unmanned plane, and comprises: step A: collecting a first image in an object area; step B, determining whether the first image includes a figure to be detected, executing step C if the first image includes a figure to be detected, or executing step D; step C, adjusting a shooting position so as to adjust the figure to be detected to a specific position in a view finding frame, and collecting a third image including the figure to be detected at an adjusted shooting position; and step D, collecting a new first image in the object area, and executing the step B. According to the technical scheme, the image acquisition method and device can automatically position an optimal shooting position for shooting, do not need an operator to determine the shooting position of the intelligent shooting unmanned plan, and reduce requirements for the operator.
