Influências teóricas de Jürgen Habermas na ciência da informação indexada na BRAPCI

Part of the recognition of the German philosopher Jurgen Habermas, belonging to the second generation of the Frankfurt School, participating in the tradition of critical theory and pragmatism, considering its importance not only in information studies, but in other domains. It aims to signal its material presence via the BRAPCI database in order to map in a series of researches, the influences of this philosopher's reflections. For this purpose, at this stage, it uses the methodology of Metric Information Studies with analyzes of the full texts of articles indexed in Brapci. The result recovers the first BRAPCI indexed works produced in Brazil and abroad; diagnoses the highest concentration of frequency due to a congress (?) published in the magazine “Comunicacao & Informacao” and in the magazine Logeion; presents a prevalence of researchers at the core of IBICT / UFRJ and UNIRIO who were most influenced by Habermas, establishing a reflection on the network of influences derived from guidelines by Maria Nelida Gonzalez de Gomez and identifies the most cited work “Structural change in the public sphere” which should be the starting point for the continuation of reflections on the presence of the author in the literature on CI in Brazil. It concludes by presenting a series of questions unfolded from these initial results.
