Light painting image generation method

The invention discloses a light painting image generation method, which comprises the following steps that a mobile terminal carries out modular operation on an image to be subjected to light painting; the mobile terminal obtains a column number of the image; when a user presses a light painting start button, a shooting start signal is generated; after the mobile terminal receives the shooting start signal, the mobile terminal enters a light painting shooting mode; a light painting controller reads a first column of image data from a memory and sends the data to an LED light bar to display; after a predetermined delay, the LED light bar moves to the position of the next column of image data, and the light painting controller reads the next column of image data in columns from the memory and sends the data to the LED light bar to display; and when the mobile terminal receives a shooting stop signal, the mobile terminal exits the light painting shooting mode and generates a light painting image. According to the method, a special shooting function for light painting is added in the mobile terminal, so that a common user can carry out light painting creation without a professional camera.
