License Plate Recognition and Location Algorithm Based on Compressive Sensing

In this paper, we first briefly introduce the recognition process of the license plate recognition system, the compressed sensing model and basic principles. It focuses on the license plate digital image processing system in license plate recognition system, and applies compressive sensing theory to license plate digital image processing. Secondly, the existing algorithms are compared and analyzed. It is found that these algorithms are not ideal in terms of image processing speed and character recognition. The method of image processing based on compressed sensing for license plate images is proposed. Finally, through the simulation of MATLAB, compared with the traditional license plate processing method, the simulation results show that this method is better. This algorithm can reduce the picture information transmission time, obtain high-precision images, and improve the picture processing speed.
