Evaluation of Rural Management Pattern Based on Good Governance Indices (Case Study of Ardabil Village Rural Areas)

2017
Good governance is a theory that has lasted almost two decades since it was launched in the global circles. This theory can be considered as a complement that has been presented for achieving sustainable and human development. Indeed, if a good governance pattern emerges in either large or small set - which of course international institutions emphasize on good governance of nation-states - the development process will accelerate. A development that is democratic and equitable. The goal of good rural governance is that villagers regain their human dignity, and the capacities and abilities of the people and the rural environment change from potentiality to actuality. The purpose of this study was to assess and evaluate good governance in rural areas of Ardebil city. This research is considered as survey in terms of method and as a practical in terms of purpose. The statistical population of the study consisted of all the villagers living in Ardebil and the sample size was estimated at 364 people using the Morgan table. The sample was achieved by using random sampling. The data were collected by library studies and scaling. Validity, face validity, and reliability of the questionnaire were calculated using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient from 0.82 to 0.94. T-test in SPSS software was used to analyze the data. Hypothesis of the research was that good rural governance in the studied area has a bad situation, and then this hypothesis was confirmed and proved.
