Un recinto funerario romano en Asturica Augusta (Astorga, León)

2003
SUMMARY The works of the gas pipeline Villamanan-Astorga-Ponferrada brought to light, at the southeast of the walled grounds of the town, some burial remains. Due to the importance that this discovery has for the study of the suburban environment of Astorga in Roman times —practically unknown—, a rescue operation has allowed us to document three burial structures made of bricks, as well as several archaeological evidences that we believe to be related to the funerary ritual.
