Reducing noise in relaxation oscillators through high-order synchronisation

A method to reduce phase noise in relaxation oscillators via the injection of small-amplitude synchronisation signals is investigated. It is shown that high-order synchronisation results in a significant phase-noise reduction over a wide frequency range.
