Radiation Magnetic Field Research of Primary/Secondary Fusion Switch Cabinet Based on Frequency Scaling Approach

2021
According to incomplete statistics, due to various electromagnetic interference, the phenomenon of signal distortion and even the misoperation of internal equipment often appears in the primary/secondary fusion switch cabinet. Firstly, the characteristics of arc extinction in the switch cabinet was analyzed in this paper, and used time-varying resistance to simulate the arc circuit. Then, the time domain finite integral method is selected to calculate the radiation magnetic field of the arc of the switch cabinet. The frequency scaling approach is used to process the interference signal and speed up the simulation. The results show that under the proposed transient interference, the instantaneous magnetic field intensity near the electronic components such as transformer is extremely high, which exceeds the specified value of relevant standards, and may cause equipment failure in actual operation. The frequency scaling approach can calculate the radiation within a certain accuracy.
