Status of the Cs fountain clock at the national research council of Canada

2016
At the National Research Council of Canada, we are working to upgrade our cesium fountain clock. The transition from NRC-FCs1 to a second generation fountain, NRC-FCs2, requires the design and assembly of a new physics package. This work is being done in collaboration with the National Physical Laboratory UK (NPL), and is based on their newest fountain, NPL-CsF3. We will describe the status of this project and improvements to the laser and microwave systems. We will also report on a C-field mapping measurement which utilizes a novel technique to identify the central Ramsey fringe used to measure the field.
