Producción científica sobre cardiología y deporte: ranking de revistas (2010) y excelencia / Scientific output on cardiology and sport: ranking of journals (2010) and excellence

El objetivo es la busqueda de articulos en las bases de datos SportDiscus, Embase, Pubmed, Scopus y Web of Science, en 2010. Situando la busqueda documental como referente de las lineas de produccion. Se buscaron los terminos cardi* y sport* (truncados), en los campos: titulo, resumen, descriptores y tipologia documental en las mismas. En el analisis estadistico se incorporaron los datos a una hoja de calculo de Microsoft Excel 2010. Los resultados obtenidos permiten discutir sobre la conveniencia de publicar los investigadores en revistas de mayor calidad y difusion, y en aquellas en las que su articulo pueda ser mas citado segun los indicadores de analisis de citas: FI, SJR e Indice h. El idioma mayoritariamente utilizado es el ingles. Un tercio de las revistas estan en acceso abierto, frente a las de pago. Ademas la consulta a dichas bases de datos es complementaria, sin poder obviar ninguna de ellas. ABSTRACT The purpose has been to search through databases SportDiscus, Embase, Pubmed, Scopus and Web of Science, in 2010. Placing the document search as referring to the production lines. We searched with the terms cardi* and sport* (truncated) in the fields: title, abstract, keywords and document types of the mentioned databases. Statistical analysis was done by incorporating the data to a spreadsheet program Microsoft Excel 2010. The results allow discussing the opportunity to publish research in journals with higher quality and dissemination, and those in which your article may be cited according to indicators: FI, SJR and index h, used in citation analysis. The most commonly used language in the communication on the items of study is English. One third of the journals are open access, as opposed to payment. In addition to such consultation are complementary databases, unable to ignore any of them.
