Study on bilingual teaching of computer science in Chinese universities

Since the foreign exchange becomes more and more frequent, there is an urgent need for China to cultivate a large number of high-quality compound talented persons who are not only proficient in foreign languages, but also has extensive expertise. This paper mainly discusses the reasons why Chinese universities carry out bilingual teaching in computer science, the problems in bilingual teaching and the way to solve these problems. Furthermore, we take our national bilingual teaching model course in “data structures and algorithms” as an example, and illustrate that bilingual teaching can bring great positive changes for the computer science education.
