The convict and the Colonial Chaplain

This talk could have been called 'The forger, the drunk and the colonial chaplain,' because I will be trying to cover three men whose endeavours led to the establishment of the Methodist cause in the Nepean-Hawkesbury area. Unlike the very pious stories of the saints popular among Catholics and Puritans in earlier times, our forebears' stories are best told warts and all.
