Immobilization of glucose oxidase using acrylonitrile copolymer membranes

Abstract Glucose oxidase was immobilized onto modified acrylonitrile copolymer membranes and showed high activity (85.0%) compared to the unmodified membranes (29.8%). The number of amino groups and the degree of hydrophilicity of the support modified the enzyme activity. The isoluble glucose oxidase demonstrated different properties that the free form.
