Evaluación del Modelo Integral de la Universidad del Futbol y Ciencias del Deporte: Percepción de calidad de estudiantes de Bachillerato

The perception of the quality by students is a reflection of the efficiency of the various aspects that make up the daily life of their educational experience and provide an opportunity to improve. For this reason, the objective of this study was to determine the perception of quality with high school students at the University of Football and Sports Science (UFSS). Methodology We conducted a non-experimental research, prospective, cross-sectional, of prevalence. A questionnaire that included the academic, sport and service dimensions was developed, validated and applied to high school students. Descriptive and inferential statistics were realized. Results We included 74 students, being a 94.6 % of the male gender, and an average age of 17.1 ± 0.8 years. According to a Likert scale, the means ± SEM of the academic, sport and service dimensions were 3.6 ± 1.1 , 4.2 ± 1.2 and 3.7 ± 1.3 , respectively. The area of "Trainer" gave highest rates to the academic and sport dimensions, compared to the area of "Management". Students of lower semesters gave higher ratings to the 3 dimensions compared to students in advanced semesters. Conclusions Overall the ratings assigned to the 3 dimensions are above 3.5, which mean that students perceived performance of the UFSS of quality. A plan for improvements in the areas that scored lower, as the dining room and shuttle service was elaborated.
