A new species of Ceratosporella and Triposporium lambdaseptatum (Matsush.) comb. nov. from Malaysia

Ceratosporella disticha sp. nov. with cheiroid conidia isolated from decaying leaves of the palm Arenga westerhautii collected in Malaysia is described and compared with other species in the genus. Ceratosporella lambdaseptata is transferred to Triposporium and T. novoguineense is reduced to synonymy with T. lambdaseptatum . A key to the known species of Ceratosporella is provided.
