Improvement of generator de-excitation and rotor overvoltage protective circuit

The author presents the problem existing in generator de-excitation and rotor overvoltage protective device,analyzes the causes,and brings forward compound use of MB-type synchronous generator ZnO speedy de-excitation,rotor overvoltage protective device and DM2 de-excitation switch.Practice results demonstrate that the operating reliability of DM2 de-excitation switch is improved and unit operation safety is secured.
