Contribución al conocimiento de los plecópteros (Insecta: Plecoptera) en la cuenca del Ebro. Contribution to the knowledge of stoneflies (Insecta: Plecoptera) in the Ebro River Basin.

2004
The results of the captures of stonefly nymphs (Insecta: Plecoptera) in rivers of the Ebro river basin are shown. Six species (Dinocras cephalotes, Perla bipunctata, Perla grandis, Perla marginata, Perlodes microcephalus and Taeniopteryx schoenemundi) were found, and their distribution maps in the Ebro river basin were drawn. Stonefly species were generaly found in upper reaches and mountain rivers, where water quality was good or very good. The ecological requirements of these species and their sensitivity to habitat alteration may be the cause of their presence in such reaches.
