Uma Revisão Sistemática de Estudos Experimentais sobre Nomeação Bidirecional

2020
Bidirectional naming (BiN) can be broadly defined as a bidirectional behavioral relationship that integrates the verbal functions of speaker and listener. Recently Hawkins, Gautreaux and Chiesa (2018) carried out a new proposal for the classification of BiN into different subtypes. The present study performed a systematic review of experimental studies on BiN in order to identify and analyze the profile of the participants and, considering the new classification, the subtypes of BiN that the studies sought to assess and the teaching procedures used, the procedures used to test the emergency of BiN, and the BiN effectively evaluated. Using the term ‘Naming’, a search was carried out in the databases PubMed, Wiley and Web of Science. It was observed that 16 studies were realized with participants with atypical development, and that the majority used (1) identity matching-to-sample with the experimenter tacting the sample stimulus (IDMTS+tact) teaching and tact and listener tests in the evaluation of ‘speaker unidirectional naming’, considering the effects of IDMTS+tact teaching on the tests; and (2) ‘multiple exemplar instruction’ (MEI) as procedures to induce ‘speaker unidirectional naming’. The need for studies that more accurately address the effects of different procedures (e.g., MEI, ‘stimulus pairing observation’) on the induction of other BiN subtypes is discussed. Keywords: bidirectional naming, speaker, listener, systematic review.
