Background
A recent study demonstrated that low-voltage-sensitive T-type calcium channel blocker ethosuximide shows rapid antidepressant actions. This study was conducted to compare the antidepressant actions of ethosuximide and (R)-ketamine in a chronic social defeat stress model.
