Fast digitizers, a brief review in view of the ALMA upgrade

A review of existing and future most promising ADCs will be made in view of the ALMA upgrade and enhanced receiver IF bandwidth. Some of the main ADC properties will be confronted with the current or revised ALMA requirements.
